| A Little Bit about Myself: |
| I'm ready to get back into decent
shape once summer starts - using the Parsons Program, of course!
- and truly miss the long training runs through Bville Park with
the Midland family. Big R-E-S-P-E-C-T to the women's team for
stepping it up in recent years.

| Fond Memories |
| Among my favorite running
memories are the nine consecutive years I ran the SOMC Run for
Your Life with best friend Jamie LoFiego. The 10K course is a
beast, the refreshments are great (and portable), and the
shower/sauna is a must. Strength to Portsmouth, OH! Midland's
2004 CC state championship was special, too, because I was able
to watch so many of those runners on a daily basis. The team's
chemistry was phenomenal; even though they won as a team, the
team left less than elated because their leader didn't capture
the individual championship. Cooper hanging on to 6th place that
day was a tremendous effort, and I won't forget his teammates'
reaction.
Oh, yeah, who could forget Kevin Beatty's anchor leg of the
1998 state championships. The Capital Shove with 100m left;
Kevin's look of disbelief in lane 4; the miracle recovery that
saw him and the Knights finish ahead of the boys in blue and
silver. |
