7/2/08 David Bias, one of Midland's newest alumni, didn't waste much time after he graduated as he took on some of the nations best. Check out these two articles about David! Article 1 | Article 2

3/22/08 Eric Cooper & Ryan Johnson both Midland Alumni had a strong showing at the Wake Forest Open Track & field meet. Cooper cracked the 15:00 barrier for 5000 meters running 14:58.08 (PR) and finished 11th out of 88 runners. Ryan Johhnson ran 1:57.21 for 800 meters and finished 41st out of 119 runners.

3/18/08 1998 Jamie Lofiego has become a TV Star. He is the host of "Up Late." Up Late is a student-produced weekly TV show similar to The Tonight Show. Click HERE for a great article about Jamie.

3/3/08 Chrisitan Edwards, 2007 Alumni, has signed to play football with the University of Richmond. Christian Edwards was the fastest athlete to ever step foot on Cabell Midland's Chris Parson's Track and is now taking his speed to Richmond, VA. Click HERE for the Herald-Dispatch article.

2/9/08 Casey Batey, 1997 Midland Alumni, competed in the 3000m run at Virginia Tech today running an 8:37.23. This his is first indoor track race in a couple of years. Casey has been busy training with the WVU track team in Morgantown.

2/2/08 Eric Cooper, Midland Alumni, broke his own school record this past weekend at WVU. His ran the 3000 meters in 8:42, which was 6 seconds better than the previous 8:48 record. He also won that race by 11 seconds. RJ Johnson placed 4th overall at the WVU meet this past weekend with a time of 2:02.27. He has already ran 1:59 for indoors this season. 1/15/08 Derek Keeton is rubbing shoulders with the stars. He has taken his goods looks and made some money with it. He is currently modeling with the No.3 ranked modeling-agency in the world!! Check out THIS story in the Herald-Dispatch on Jan. 17, 2008.

1/20/08 2005 Alumni Eric Cooper has been setting the college scene on fire with numerous accomplishments that includes earning a spot competing in the National Championships. The latest news from Eric is that he set WV Wesleyans Indoor 3,000m Run Record with an amazing time of 8:48 at Notre Dame.
