Comments: This was a great meet for our team. Despite having Prom with a few key athletes not running, we managed to almost beat Preston. We still have to improve to beat Preston, but we’re progressing to PEAK at the State Championship. Preston is for Real, but so is Midland!!! We will move Darwan back to the hurdles to give us more strength in the shuttles & 110HH’s. Saunders gets in better shape each week & will be ready to Roll by states. Our distance runners moved it up a level & produced some good PR’s. Our shuttles & 4x100 keep dominating & hold the number #1 ranking in the state. Deron & DJ are the verge of being among the best in the Long Jump & High Jump. Scottie Workman & Wade Midkiff produced PR’s in the shot & 300IH & picked up some points for the team. The coaching has some big decisions to make by Regionals & state. We are also pleased with your efforts & performances at the Gazette Relays.

We must do everything possible to be at our best!!!
