Midwest Meet of Champions
October 2nd (Saturday)
At Hilliard Darby High School in Columbus/Dublin, Ohio area
Race Schedule: (Runners need to be at course 1 hour 30 before race)
9:30 AM Adult Open (show up and run the course, no fee, time yourself)
10:00 AM Boys Freshman/Sophomore Race (unlimited entry)
10:30 AM Girls Freshman/Sophomore Race (unlimited entry)
11:00 AM *Boys Race of Champions (seven varsity runners)
11:30 AM *Girls Race of Champions (seven varsity runners)
12:00 PM *Boys Open Race (unlimited entry)
12:30 PM Girls Open Race (unlimited entry)
1:00 PM Awards Ceremony (or shortly after)
Directions to Midwest Meet of Champions:
1. Go up Route 2 towards Pt. Pleasant and cross bridge into Ohio on 35 ???
2. Merge onto US-35 N toward CHILLICOTHE (Crossing into OHIO). 62.0 mi
3. Take US-23 N toward COLUMBUS. 37.2 mi
4. Merge onto I-270 W toward I-71 / COLUMBUS. 15.4 mi
5. Merge onto CEMETERY RD / CR-30 W via EXIT 13B. 2.5 mi
6. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto SCIOTO & DARBY CREEK RD / CR-29 0.4 mi
7. Turn RIGHT onto LEPPERT RD / CR-37. 0.2 mi
8. 4200 LEPPERT RD. 0.0 mi
If you are driving in from I-270 and the Cemetery Road exit we have construction going on in the center of town at Cemetery and Main Street. You will need to take Cemetery Road past Norwich Street (ignore the road closed sign) and make a left turn on Luxair Rd. Follow Luxair Rd. to the stop sign and turn right onto Scioto-Darby Road. Take Scioto-Darby across Main Street and Darby HS will be on the right. Turn right onto Leppert as usual. (This detour is just a short jog around the construction zone, but things can get congested in this area).
